Złotów City

Location

Złotów is a town with approximately 17,000 inhabitants located on the Głomia River in the northern part of the Greater Poland Voivodeship. The city’s area is 11.58 km2, of which 40% is surface water and green areas. The city is the seat of the Złotów district authorities, many public and financial institutions as well as primary, vocational and high school educational institutions. The city is also a “district service and commercial center”, with attractive conditions and investment areas for entrepreneurs. Złotów has excellent natural conditions for tourism. It is surrounded by vast forests. There are picturesque places for water sports and fishing. There are 5 lakes in the city: Baba, Mayorowskie, Miejskie, Proboszczowskie, Zaleskie. 25 natural monuments have been established within the city limits, including a cluster of 17 monumental oaks on the Jewish Mountain. For lovers of hiking and cycling, there are numerous walking and cycling paths of varying degrees of difficulty around the city. Our city is known for healthy living conditions, forests and lakes, as well as many years of specialization in rehabilitation.
Why it’s worth investing here:
  • Currently, Złotów is a city that has been dynamically developing for several years and boldly and successfully uses national and EU funds on an unprecedented scale,
  • investments in housing construction have been increasing for several years (ZTBS, developers),
  • the city has good road infrastructure, and 20 km from the city limits there is the DK 11 national road,
  • the city is known for healthy living and recreation conditions, forests and lakes, as well as many years of specialization in rehabilitation,
  • it is possible to combine land into plots, specifically to meet the investor’s requirements,
  • relief for entrepreneurs – real estate tax exemption – de minimis,
  • administrative support in the investment process.
Seeing the economic potential of Złotów, we carefully prepare investment areas: to ensure that they are fully developed and have a local development plan.
Złotów. Wielkopolskie Zdroje Złotów is taking active steps to become the first health resort in Greater Poland. This vision, expressed in the slogan “Złotów. Wielkopolskie Zdroje” assumes the creation of a city (constituting the heart of the historic Krajna) comfortable to live in and neutral to the climate, providing healthy, modern and safe conditions for work and development for all residents. As part of the “Local Development” competition from Norwegian Funds, the city received funding in the amount of PLN 15.5 million in 2021. This funding will enable us to take a giant development step. We have already started implementing a number of development activities that improve the infrastructure, enable the development of entrepreneurship and the city’s spa functions, care for the natural environment and provide residents with new forms of spending their time actively. The development of the city’s potential as a health resort creates new opportunities for potential investors. At this point, the base of nearby agritourism centers is relatively well developed, however, in the city itself, significant gaps in the availability of hotels and accommodation facilities have been identified. The development of accommodation facilities is one of the city’s investment priorities and we are willing to actively support interested investors in this regard.
