Dąbrowa Górnicza is located in the key region of Poland – the Silesian Voivodeship, inhabited by 4.6 million people. The Upper Silesian Conurbation (2.5 million inhabitants) is the largest urbanized area in Central and Eastern Europe. The Upper Silesian Industrial Area has a long tradition of heavy industry.
The agglomeration has a very well-developed communication infrastructure. Connected Silesia is a dense network of roads, the A4 and A1 motorways intersect here, which greatly facilitates communication both inside and outside the agglomeration. The A4 motorway forms the European east-west transport corridor, allowing direct access from Nuremberg via Dresden, Wrocław, Katowice and Kraków to Lviv and Kiev. On the other hand, the A1 motorway is a convenient north-south connection – it connects Scandinavia with the south of Europe through Gdańsk, Warsaw, Katowice and Ostrava.
The region is famous for the dynamically developing International Airport in Pyrzowice, which serves more and more passengers every year. In 2016, a new cargo terminal Cargo City was opened, where DHL, Fedex, UPS and TNT have their warehouses. The cargo building is the most modern terminal in Poland. A river port is located in Gliwice – an element of the Silesian Logistics Center, which is the most universal inland port in the country. An important element of the infrastructure is the International Logistics Center – Euroterminal in Sławków, which, having a wide track, enables connection with the Ukrainian and Russian railways and further into the Far East.
Dąbrowa Górnicza is located in the area of the intersection of important roads of regional, national and international importance. The most important of them are: A1 motorway (Gdańsk-Łódź-Gliwice-Brno), A4 motorway (Dresden-Wrocław-Katowice-Krakow-Lviv) and national roads:
The Dąbrowa Górnicza Commune currently offers 12 investment areas for sale by tender. The grounds are of different size and purpose. The largest area is the production, service and storage areas, including one of the largest investment areas in Poland – Tucznawa. The site is located in Dąbrowa Górnicza, in the center of the Tucznawa investment area, with an area of approximately 180 ha, including 53 ha covered by the statute of the Katowice Special Economic Zone. The first investor in the Tucznawa area is NGK Ceramics Polska Sp. z o.o., producing ceramic inserts for car engines. Production is planned to start in January 2017. The property is surrounded by forests and agricultural land. In the further neighborhood there are industrial areas (ArcelorMittal Poland S.A., Koksownia Przyjaźń plant JSW KOKS S.A., URSA Polska Sp.z o.o., Brembo Poland Sp.z o.o., Ficomirrors Polska Sp.z o.o.). The nearest housing development is located 450 m north-west of the complex, along the provincial road No. 796 – Idzikowskiego Street. The city center is located southwest of Tucznawa.
The property has a convenient connection with the S1 Cieszyn – Gdańsk expressway, as well as the A4 and A1 motorways. The intersection of the S1 expressway with the national road no. 94 Wrocław – Kraków, 10 km south of the investment area, enables convenient communication within the Upper Silesian Conurbation. Uchwała Nr VI/119/2015 Rady Miejskiej w Dąbrowie Górniczej z dnia 20 maja 2015 r. w sprawie szczegółowych warunków udzielania zwolnień z podatku od nieruchomości, stanowiących regionalną pomoc inwestycyjną dla przedsiębiorców prowadzących działalność gospodarczą na terenie miasta Dąbrowa Górnicza.
Zwolnienie z podatku od nieruchomości przysługuje po łącznym spełnieniu następujących warunków: zrealizowania inwestycji oraz utworzenia nowych miejsc pracy. W przypadku przedsiębiorstw innych niż wymienione w punkcie 1 litera a), b) Uchwały :
